Synthene pr752-tds-en-v4

Polyurethane synthetic resins for casting are becoming more and more in demand in industrial production every year. The reasons are simple – they can be used for fast, cheap and mass production of standard products with high strength, elasticity and wear resistance. A great example is Synthene PR752 resin.

In most cases, this polymer resin is used for casting prototypes and pilot batches of products. The material is intended for vacuum casting of products, the final characteristics of which are similar to PA6.6, PPS or PEEK. They have pronounced dielectric properties, which is why the resin is actively used in electrical production.

Scope of product use

The material is used for the manufacture of parts and structural elements, which, due to the inherent design requirements, must be distinguished by high strength and elasticity:

  • Cases of household and office equipment.
  • The characteristics of the material allow it to be used for the manufacture of high-quality children’s toys.
  • In recent years, Synthene PR752 and its analogues (from the Axson casting resin series , for example) have been increasingly used in the automotive industry for the production of interior parts, decorative elements, etc.

In addition, parts are cast from it for other industries where high compressive strength, bending strength and resistance to deformation are required.

Benefits of using Synthene PR752

Products for the production of which this resin was used have a number of important advantages:

  • Critical deformation temperature (Hdt 150°C) allows these parts to be used in high-temperature conditions, incl. in contact pairs heated up due to friction.
  • Ease of filling. The resin in the initial state is characterized by a low degree of viscosity, which is why it easily fills molds of any configuration and size.
  • Due to its high elasticity and mechanical strength, it is possible to cast parts from it that, even being thin, can withstand tough use.
