Technical specifications
High-quality polymer resin ideal for prototyping, imitating PA/PC. It differs from analogues (for example, biresin vg280 ) in a higher degree of mechanical strength of finished products, which ensured its prevalence in industrial production and amateur modeling.
The resin is two-component, before use, thorough mixing of the working composition is required up to the formation of an absolutely homogeneous liquid material.
Scope of product use
Synthene PR2900 resin is used to cast parts with high impact resistance and good ductility. For this reason, the material is widely demanded in various industries:
- Covers, decorative casings, air filter housings, plastic lines, bumper and interior elements. As more and more plastics are being used in the automotive industry today, the need for resins for vacuum casting is constantly growing.
- Synthene PR2900 is in demand in the production of household and office equipment.
- It can be used to produce prototypes needed to test product performance, as well as to produce small or pilot batches of products in order to determine the real performance of parts during practical tests.
Benefits of using Synthene PR2900
The volume of industrial use of resins of this type is only increasing every year due to the high performance characteristics of the material:
- The working composition is characterized by low viscosity, due to which it completely fills the entire internal volume of the mold.
- Simple preparation of the working composition. The ratio of components is simple, calculated according to the 1:2 principle.
- Finished products are characterized by an elasticity index of up to 2900 MPa (without the use of additional reinforcing components).
- The surface of finished parts can be easily painted.
- The products are thermostable up to 92°C.
- Excellent impact resistance, allowing the finished structure to withstand shock loads for a long time.
